Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. These foods are rich in anti-oxidants which counteract the damage brought about by free radicals in our surroundings. These anti-oxidants are in the form of Vitamin C and Vitamin E.

If there is a lack in the folic acid levels of a woman, this can have fatal consequences such as stillbirths, congenital anomalies, miscarriages and other untoward events.
You must also maintain an ideal weight. You ideal weight is based on your height and your energy levels. You should eat lot of protein-rich food. Proteins, in the form of amino acids are the building blocks of your body organs. They are also needed for the proper development of your baby's body.
Live a stress free life. It has been said that stress predisposes to infertility and abnormal pregnancies. Stress is also a risk factor to some co-morbid illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension and a weak immune system. Aside from a balanced diet and a stress-free life, you also have to exercise daily for endurance and strength.
